About Us

Miner’s Camp is a peaceful retreat located in the heart of Foresthill, California. Inspired by the local mining history, each of our 16 cabins is designed with a modern, rustic flair that highlights the historic charm of our town. The cabins are perched on 10 acres of private property surrounded by breathtaking forest.

Our property also features public BBQs, fire pits, lawn games, and everything you need to enjoy an outdoor getaway. The cabins are climate-controlled, feature ensuite bathrooms, and offer a cozy and private sanctuary for each of our guests.

Find your adventure

Perched at the base of the Sierra Nevadas, Miner’s Camp is surrounded by the best that nature has to offer. Just down the road, you will find some of California’s most beautiful hiking trails, biking paths, and mountain views. Head over to the American River for fishing, gold panning, or whitewater rafting.

Minutes down the road, you will also find a variety of wineries, breweries, and local fare. Take a short, 20-minute drive to Auburn to explore the historic Downtown area filled with local boutiques, antique shops, restaurants, and so much more!

Booking Miner’s Camp

Our property features 16 private cabins, each designed to fit your needs. To reserve your stay at Miner’s Camp, simply book line.

Self Check-In

Check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Late check-out is available for an additional fee. Please note that we have contactless check-in and check-out. Prior to your arrival, you will receive an email and/or text message with instructions and a door code.

Group Bookings

With 16 individual cabins, Miner’s Camp is ideal for groups! We have hosted various gatherings from family reunions and rehearsal dinners to church camps and corporate retreats. To inquire about booking for a group, please get in touch.

  • It is beautiful. The cabin has a kitchenette and a sofa. It was very clean and seemed brand new. There were very unique and rustic decorations. The big shower had stones in the ground and there were fresh towels. The bed was comfortable and the large TV was on a swivel. Very clean and warm!

  • Nice getaway spot in a small charming town. The cabins are really charming and cozy inside and there are parking spots right outside each door. The cabin feels spacious once inside. There are also enough amenities in town to eat, shop and gas up. If you are trying to stay away from the typical /busy crowd, this place is great.
